OUR TOUR ITINERARY:
Tommy Dao Tours offers a full day excursion to Vietnamese Heroic Mother and the historically significant My Lai site. This is a unique experience and you will be accompanied by a professional guide with exceptional knowledge about the history of the Vietnam War and My Lai Massacre who is willing to share his knowledge of the important events which took place there over 40 years ago. A day trip to My Lai will provide everlasting memories and give unique insights into an event which changed the course of history.
Our tour starts at 8:00am from your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An
We will take you to visit at the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mother, built to honour all mothers that have lost their sons and daughters in the various wars. There is a vast image of the heroic mother Nguyen Thi Thu, she lost children and grandchildren in two wars.
About 11:00am, on your arrival at My Lai you will watch an emotionally charged video, and then you are free to roam the Museum at leisure before visiting the sites in the surrounding gardens with your guide who will be on hand to answer questions in English and help with camera shots.
After the tour that , our guide and driver will take you to beach near there to enjoy seafood or local food and rest or swim, then drive back to Hoi An about 3 or 4pm.
