PACKAGE TOUR – DA NANG – HUE – HOI AN – BA NA HILLS – DA NANG (6 Days 5 Nights)

Join TOMMY DAO TOURS on this fantastic 6 days – 5 nights package of tours to experience the major attractions and beautiful scenery of Central Vietnam.  This package provides you with all your tour requirements and transfers and you will experience four of the most popular destinations in my home region of Vietnam.

You will have chance to experience the major towns in the area, Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue, and visit the major tourist attractions, including:

• Ba Na Hills,
• Marble Mountain,
• The Old Town in Hoi An
• Hoi An’s Ceramic Village
• Bay Mau Coconut Forest
• the Hue Imperial City and a Tomb of one of the Vietnamese Emperors
• the wonderful viewsand scenery of the famous Hai Van Pass, Lang Co beach and the Lagoon

Plenty of time is allowed for market shopping, taking those important photos to remember your trip by, and you will have your evenings free to wander and enjoy amazing Vietnamese food that this area is famous for.

Duration: 6 days / 5 nights

Itinerary in brief:

Day 1:   Da Nang to Hue.  On your arrival in Da Nang, we will pick you up from the airport or train station and transfer you to Hue.  The trip to Hue is a day trip on its own, as we go via the amazing Hai Van Pass, with stops at Lang Co Beach and the Cau Hai Lagoon.

Once you have checked in to your Hue Hotel, your time is your own, however our experienced guides will provide you with some great eating and exploring recommendations.

Day 2:  Exploring Hue.  After breakfast, we will pick you up at your Hue accommodation and we will explore the amazing historic city

This morning we will take you to visit the Dong Ba Market– the most famous market in Hue where you will see the local residents shopping for their food. Next, we will take you down to the Perfume River where we will board a local boat for a cruise up the river to the Thien Mu Pagoda – one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in Hue and Vietnam.

After our visit there, we will visit the Imperial City was the place where Nguyen Dynasty’s Emperor and royal family worked and lived from year 1802 to 1945.  We will return you to your Hue accommodation for some rest and relaxation.

Day 3: Transfer to HoiAn.  After checking out of your Hue hotel, we will transfer you to either your Da Nang or Hoi An accommodation, on the way visiting the famous Marble Mountain and the Son Tra Peninsular.

Once you have checked in to your Hoi An or Da Nang accommodation, the rest of the afternoon and evening is free for you to wander around Hoi An or Da Nang, and experience the sights and sounds of Hoi An or Da Nang by night.Again our guides will provide some recommendations on great places to eat and things to see.

Day 4:   Exploring Hoi An.  Today we explore Hoi An and surrounds, including

• visiting the Ancient Town including a guided tour of the amazing UNESCO listed buildings and dwellings that have been preserved.
• Lunch at a local restaurant in Hoi An
• exploring the Bay Mau water coconut forest, where you will learn to row a basket boat and see and try traditional fishing techniques.
• visiting Kim Bong Carpentry Village and the Ceramic Village
• learning traditional lantern making, a unique souvenir to take home.

If you are staying in Da Nang, we will pick you up from your Da Nang accommodation and drop you back there after the Hoi An tour.

Tonight is free, so if you are staying in Hoi An, you can visit one of the many great restaurants, shop at the night market or you may want to go out to An Bang Beach to one of the beach clubs for some wonderful food and entertainment.

Day 5: Explore the famous Ba Na Hills complex.

For Day 5, we can take you to visit the famous Ba Na Hills complex where you can see the amazing Golden Hands Bridge and visit the entertainment area, the wonderful gardens and the French Village.

This is an early start to avoid the crowds, and we will pick you up at your Da Nang or Hoi An accommodation.  The complex is best known for the amazing Golden Hands Bridge, however there is plenty of other amazing things to experience, including the wonderful cultural show, the amusement areas, the lovely gardens and the spectacular French Village.  The trip up to the complex on the cable cars and funicular railway is an experience in itself.

After your day at Ba Na Hills, which includes lunch at one of the buffet restaurants, we will take you back to your Hoi An or Da Nang accommodation.

(If you are not interested in visiting the Ba Na Hills complex, then we can substitute another tour.  We are happy to discuss other options, including a Hoi An Countryside tour or a visit to the temple complex at My Son)

Da Nang by Night Additional tour.

If you are lucky enough to be in Da Nang or Hoi An on a Saturday and Sunday night, for an additional cost we will take you on our Da Nang by night tour, which includes a boat trip on Han River to see the beautiful Da Nang bridges and watch the Dragon Bridge show where the dragon breathes fire and water

Day 6: Free time & Da Nang depart (B)

Depending on your departure time and method of transport, today is free until it is time to pick you up from your Da Nang or Hoi An accommodation and bid you farewell.
