PACKAGE TOUR – HOI AN and DA NANG (3 Days of Tours)

This package is designed to provide our guests with a package of tours around Da Nang and Hoi An.  This package does not include your hotel costs, so you are free to choose your own hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An.

Our guests will be able to:

• visit Ba Na Hills to see the Golden Hands Bridge and take the cable car up to the top where you will get great views over Da Nang and see the Old French Village and Flower Gardens, as well as the Amusement area.
• admire the charming Hoi An Old town with its narrow streets, old houses and thousands of colourful traditional lanterns that decorate the town and the buildings.
• learn to row the basket boats while exploring the water coconut forest and try and catch the small crabs that inhabit the forest.
• take a boat trip on Thu Bon River to visit handicraft villages around Hoi An and try your hand at some of the traditional crafts
• visit Marble Mountain, with its amazing grottos and caves.

Day 1: Da Nang arrival – Discover Ba Na Hills – Transfer to Hoi An.

If you are arriving by plane or by train, our guide and driver welcome you at your point of arrival and transfer you to Da Nang city centre.

If you are already in Da Nang or Hoi An, we will pick you up from your accommodation.

This day tour starts with a welcome lunch at a local restaurant and after lunch, you will discover Ba Na Hill – 25 km to the south west of Da Nang City. you will transfer to Ba Na Hill– 25 km to the south west of Da Nang City.

To reach the summit, you will take a cable car from the foot of the Hill, with spectacular views of the forest and waterfalls, underneath your cable car as you climb to a height of 1138 meters above sea level. On arrival you will visit the replica French villas built to represent the French Vietnamese architectural styles. Then it is off to the beautiful Flower Garden, by mountain train, which has spectacular floral displays of local flowers. Other sights at the Ba Na Hills include the famous Golden Hands Bridge, the Great Buddha Statue, Linh Ung Pagoda, and Wine Tunnel where different wines are stored.  if you want to, you can relax or play games at Fantasy Theme Amusement (most games and the 4D Movie are already included in your tour package but games that have a reward are not included – your guide will show you which ones are included).

We will then take the cable car back to the foot of the Hill where your driver will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Hoi Anfor check in.

Tonight, you are free to relax or wander around the Night markets and have dinner in one of the many excellent Hoi An restaurants.  Maybe, buy some lanterns or those crazy shirts that are on sale.  Your guide can give you some great recommendations on places to eat, have a cocktail or to shop.

Day 2: Explore Bay Mau water coconut forest – visit Thanh Ha Village& Hoi An Ancient Town – Learning traditional lantern making. O/N in Hoi An

After breakfast at your chosen hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up at 8.00am and take you to visit Green Bay Mau Water Coconut Forest. where you will have the chance to be taught to row the famous basket boat by a member of a local family, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and use fishing tools to catch small crabs.

After this fun activity, we will take you by boat to visit the Thanh Ha Ceramic Village where you will view the various stages of producing the many kinds of the pottery products such as jars, vases, earthen pots, decorative lamps, etc and have opportunity to make a small product by yourself.

Returning by boat on Thu Bon River,it is back to Hoi An to do a walking tour around old streets exploring Hoi An Ancient Town, including the Japanese Covered Bridge, the beautiful Chinese Assembly Halls, Chinese Assembly Halls, Sa Huynh Museum and the local market…Hoi An is also a place for shopping and getting tailor made clothing, leather items and shoes at a reasonable price.  Ready made clothing and shoes are also available and you can take note of the shops you like to return to in the evening.  We will lunch at a local favourite restaurant.

This afternoon, your guide and driver will take you to a workshop which makes the famous Hoi An Lanterns.  Here, you are given instruction on how to make a lantern, and the significance of the different shapes and colours. Then it is your turn to make a lantern which you can take home as a gift from Hoi An. It is a great way to learn more about the traditional Hoi An handicrafts and skills.  We will then take you back to your hotel or drop you in Hoi An if you want.

Again tonight, you are free to relax or wander around the Night markets and have dinner in one of the many excellent Hoi An restaurants.  Maybe, get more lanterns or more souvenirs to take home.

Day 3: Transfer to Da Nang – Visit Marble Mountain & Departure

After breakfast at your Hoi An hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you back to Da Nang.

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, you will visit Marble Mountain which was named after the ancient oriental philosophy including 5 elements creating universe: metal, wood, water, fire and earth.

Here, we will take you exploring through the systems of caves and tunnels which were used as a very important base during the Vietnam Revolutionary War.

The views from the top are stunning and you will get a great panoramic view of the beach and Da Nang city.  You have more chance to see beautiful sandy My Khe Beach on the way back from Marble Mountain to your departure point. Depend on your departure time; you will be dropped off Da Nang Airport or train station for your onward journey.  If you are staying longer in Da Nang or Hoi An, we will take you back to your hotel.
